Green Bay/ Fox Crossing – Lead Install Technician

This role will be heavily based at a customer site in Clintonville, WI
with a home base at our Fox Crossing or Green Bay location.

To support our continued growth, we have created an excellent opportunity for an individual to join the BAYCOM team as a Lead Install Technician at our Green Bay, WI office.

  • Leading and assigning new projects to a small team of Install Techs
  • Managing assigned projects, keeping in mind customer requirements, quality, and scope of project to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Installing mobile equipment such as devices, base stations, antennas, and GPS systems in various mobile and fixed environments
  • Ensuring parts are inventoried and assembled for projects prior to scheduled work to ensure correct parts are available to meet the customer’s expectations
  • Optimizing site or vehicle following the installation to ensure equipment functions properly
  • Performing programming or run diagnostics as needed
  • Trouble shooting installed equipment.
  • Documenting all services rendered and parts used on service ticket for all customer engagements
  • Representing BAYCOM in a positive and professional manner


skills and qualifications you bring:
  • Excellent management and communication skills
  • Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams
  • Understanding of basic vehicle electronics
  • Computer and networking knowledge
  • Ability to work with hand tools, drills, impact drivers, and test equipment
  • Understanding AC/DC electronics
  • Remaining current on technologies, troubleshooting & product knowledge
  • Willingness to become MECP basic certified within 90 days of employment
  • Documentation skills in products used for customer deliverables (Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio, Outlook)
