Green Bay/ Fox Crossing – Lead Install Technician

This role will be heavily based at a customer site in Clintonville, WI
with a home base at our Fox Crossing or Green Bay location.

To support our continued growth, we have created an excellent opportunity for an individual to join the BAYCOM team as a Lead Install Technician at our Green Bay, WI office.
YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE & HAVE AN IMPACT BY:
- Leading and assigning new projects to a small team of Install Techs
- Managing assigned projects, keeping in mind customer requirements, quality, and scope of project to ensure customer satisfaction
- Installing mobile equipment such as devices, base stations, antennas, and GPS systems in various mobile and fixed environments
- Ensuring parts are inventoried and assembled for projects prior to scheduled work to ensure correct parts are available to meet the customer’s expectations
- Optimizing site or vehicle following the installation to ensure equipment functions properly
- Performing programming or run diagnostics as needed
- Trouble shooting installed equipment.
- Documenting all services rendered and parts used on service ticket for all customer engagements
- Representing BAYCOM in a positive and professional manner
skills and qualifications you bring:
- Excellent management and communication skills
- Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams
- Understanding of basic vehicle electronics
- Computer and networking knowledge
- Ability to work with hand tools, drills, impact drivers, and test equipment
- Understanding AC/DC electronics
- Remaining current on technologies, troubleshooting & product knowledge
- Willingness to become MECP basic certified within 90 days of employment
- Documentation skills in products used for customer deliverables (Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio, Outlook)
