To support our continued growth, we have created an excellent opportunity for an individual to join the BAYCOM team as an Sales Manager at our Green Bay, WI office.

responsibilities of this role include:

Sales Team Support:

  • Lead a sales team of 12, across 5 locations in Wisconsin and Minnesota, selling radio, video security, and access control to public safety and commercial accounts.
  • Conduct regular 121’s with the sales team to provide guidance, support, and address any challenges.
  • Assist in creating presentations for customer meetings.
  • Coach sales team on sales methods, to include attending customer meetings and calls.
  • Review weekly sales dashboard, distribute to team.
  • Hold sales team accountable to activity, pipeline, and sales goals.
  • Lead sales team meetings.
  • Coordinate sales team training.


Opportunity Management:

  • Ensure opportunities are up to date in CRM and in spreadsheet.
  • Monitor status on supplier website and take appropriate actions to ensure we are on track.
  • Ensure bid review process is followed.
  • Keep leadership team aware of key opportunities.
  • Participate in customer meetings on large opportunities.
  • Engage suppliers in customer meetings on large opportunities.
  • Lead annual review process with large customers.
  • Distribute internal and supplier-provided leads.


Relationship Building:

  • Assist in creating presentations for customer meetings.
  • Participate in customer meetings on large opportunities.
  • Engage supplier in customer meetings on large opportunities.
  • Hold sales team accountable to activity, pipeline, and sales goals.
  • Lead annual review process with large customers.
  • Ownership of supplier relationship.


Sales Strategy:

  • Develop strategy to drive profitable growth of Security segment.
  • Monitor local newsletters for new construction, etc.
  • Work with Marketing on promotions/campaigns.


Resource and Inventory Management:

  • Request demo equipment as needed.
  • Monitor demo equipment inventory.
  • Monitor LTC visits, ensure customer visits are occurring, and that the facility is set up.


skills & Qualifications you bring:
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience.
  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably in the technology or security industry.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of video cameras, access control systems, and two-way radios, with the ability to effectively communicate their features and benefits to customers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to meet with clients.
